Allo! Hope you are having a fab Saturday so far! For those of you who braved the Black Friday specials I hope you got some good deals..and survived ;) Today I am showing Shy Emmylou. Such a cutie patootie. She was designed after Kimmie's daughter who they nicknamed Emmylou. Em is still a cutie patootie let me tell you! It's also challenge day on our blog and today's challenge is to use textures. Crissy who is the illustrator of this stamp is the host of this challenge. Click here to go to the challenge blog and read more about it. On this card to add texture I used new paper from Kaisercraft- the Lilac Avenue collection. I have the 6x6 pack and many of the papers are textured with either glitter like the one I used or vinyl and velvet. So pretty. I also added stretchy ribbon, metal elements and crystals. I also wanted to have my card work with the challenge on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog which is to use your punches. I used my new border punch, a butterfly punch and also a punch for my sentiment that matched the metal. I made this card with one of my nieces in mind. We both are purple CRAZY and we have a club- the Pretty Purple Princess club- we yell it out all the time when we see something purple then high-five each other. My BIL 's(her daddy) favourite colour is also purple so we allowed him to be a princess too. Here is a pic of both of my fellow Pretty Purple Princesses...This card is for you sweetie!
When you're ready to share your textured creation, be sure to link us up in this post! And if you post to an online gallery, be sure to use the keyword KKSC8, so we can all check 'em out!!
So go grab a hot bevvie..put on the Christmas music and use it as an excuse to stamp...that's what I am doing lol. Come on back tomorrow for more eye candy and the new releases will be up for sale!
