Hopping with Unity and Faber-Castell today!

Happy Thursday!

Today we are happy to have Faber-Castell joining us on our weekly hop
Unity and Faber-Castell
a match made in mixed media heaven!

I went WAY out of my comfort zone
which is totally fun to make yourself do by the way
and worked on a small canvas
I used a set that I have had my eye on using for awhile now- Ooh La La
I adore all things Parisian and this set is packed full of French goodness
I then also used some Gelatos, Pitt Artist Pens and Gesso

First I gesso'd the canvas to prime the surface and get it ready
I then rubbed the gelatos on the canvas and rubbed it with my finger to blend
I found I wanted it a bit creamier so I spritzed with water and it blended perfectly
I dried it with my heat gun as I was impatient to get started
I stamped with a combination of ink, white gelato and pitt artist pens
I took a white pitt pen to doodle around the edges then finished them off with gold gelato

Want to win some of these goodies for  your own crafty stash?
Make sure you leave a comment at each stop on the hop today including the Unity blog and Faber-Castell blog for your chance to win the amazing prize package below!

Enjoy the Hop!
