Blog Candy in honour of my BSF- Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps giveaway....

I have been holding onto some Kraftin' Kimmie stamps to give away in honour of my BSF Kraftin' Kimmie and her successful first year of business. Last month we celebrated our one year anniversary with sales, prizes and hops and I just wanted to stretch out the party a bit longer. I mean- I celebrate my birthday MONTH not day hee hee!

So I may  have shared before that I met my BSF Kimmie online at splitcoaststampers and after deeming each other 'safe' and 'harmless' except for enabling wild craft spending we met in person and friends since then. What I would like to know for a chance to win is how you met your BSF? Any more cool online stories or craft store encounters where you rejoiced at finding a kindred soul whose heart beat faster at finding ribbon spools on sale?

For a second chance to win leave me a second comment if you share this on your blog to help spread the word. Please note you must leave your blog addy to be verified and make sure you leave 2 comments in total.

I will pick the winner on Nov 8th so there is lots of time to enter and win.

So what will you win? To celebrate I am giving away 2 stamps from our first release- Charlotte and my fave- Lillith. In fact in the colour picture of Lillith below and on the KKS website features my colouring. It 'may' have something to do with her being my fave but not the only reason :)

So leave a comment following the criteria above and good luck!!

I didn't know that you met online first! Huh! I don't have one bsf, but many stampin' friends. Meeting you and Kimmie in person at copic certfication was amazing and of course meeting a lot of others at CHA was awesome. Most I've gotten to know just by chatting over on SCS. Thanks for the chance to win beautiful girl!

What a fun idea Andrea!! I have a couple of BSF but I will tell you about Jen. I had been a CTMH consultant for only a few months when one of the girls from a gathering I did asked if she could have a catty for a friend at camp. Of course, I said "sure, no problem" A week or so later Jen called and wanted to sign up. We have been friends ever since!! We get together to scrap, have long chats on the phone and when we find a have to have stamp (like KKs) we make sure to tell one another (: If we're feeling guilty about spending too much $$ on paper and stamps we spill the beans to each other instead of our husbands (: that way we don't feel so guilty! It's like SA (scrapbookers/stampers anonymous)

I put your blog candy at the top of my side bar!!

I met my BF at work and we both got into stamping and scrapbooking about the same time. I've also met so many BF through Unity and Ippity and of course SCS. Since I moved to Nashville there isn't anyone that I really stamp with, but thanks to the cyber space! I have so much BFF to stamp with and can't wait to meet them one day. Thanks for a chance at your birthday celebration candy. Happy Birthday to YOU! I will be posting this over on FB!

Aaaw, those stamps are soooooo cute! I just found you through StampinCathy! I met my BSF in a funny way. We actually found each other by running into each other garage-saling around the neighborhood. Then I posted on FreeCycle looking for info on child care for my then one year old and she responded. Well, three years later we are total BSFF! LOL!

What an awesome story about how you and Kim met! I don't think I have one BSF but I have been incredibly blessed to have met so many fantastic people throught his hobby. Scrapbooking has brought me a couple of really close sistas and I am thankful for that. One woman in particular (Marissa) that I met through the hobby is just like my twin. We are definite soul sistas!

I love that these hobbies of ours bring so many of us together! So awesome!! This hobby of course is the reason I got to meet you and Kim and the rest of the Krafty Girls and that is pretty amazing!!

Thanks for the chance to win some candy, girl. You rock!!

I met mine through an online craft forum, only to discover that she lives less than an hour from me. We often get together for 'crafty' days

My first BSF is my little sister who taught me how to stamp during a stressful period, it was like a lifeline! My second BSF, Terri, (I get two because the first one is my sister!) is a someone I just connected with at a recent stamping get together. We both live alone so it has been great for more than stamping - someone to go out to dinner with, followed by hobby store shopping! So great to have a friend to hang out with who shares the same obsession! :-)

Well entered me again, your blog candy is featured in my left sidebar just below the followers!

Thanks for the opportunity! And check out my AMAZING blog candy on The Altered Alice - Donna/Meme's fab Halloween in Wonderland Printers Tray!!!! http://alteredalice.blogspot.com

I guess the closest I have to a BSF is my CTMH demo Shari. A coworker asked me last minute if I wanted to attend a stamping party her sister was having when someone cancelled. I made my first cards that night and was soon spending way too much money feeding my new addiction. I attend her monthly scrapbooking group and any special events she holds. It is my favourite monthly activity.

Stacie above is my BSF for Sure! We have so many similarities its crazy, but its so nice to have someone to laugh and cry with and share your craft passion. We are at opposite ends of the world, her being in America and me being in Australia, but we are truely like twins... only problem is deciding which one is the evil one mwuahahaa. Off to post on my blog :)

Andrea,

What a cool topic!!! :) And congratulations to Kimmie on her one year!

My bsf and I did NOT like each other when we first met, because we both responded to a Craigslist ad for Stampin' Up! stamps that were for sale. Considering it was just the two of us, we were pretty ugly, fighting over them in someone's garage. The guy who was selling them (for a lady at his church) said, "Oh, you guys are both from Scottsdale (we were almost an hour away in Peoria)." Now Scottsdale is a big (spread out) place, but it turns out we lived walking distance from each other!!! I invited her to a SU stamp camp I was having (as a customer-I'm not a demonstrator) & the rest is history!

Thanks for the chance to win,

Jennifer

Met my BSF at a church group that was supposed to get me into scrapbooking. Didn't finish a page of a scrapbook, but am now making lots of cards thanks to my BSF.

I met my best scrappy friends online too - at an Australian scrap store/forum. Some of us live not too far from each other and we catch up regular. Three of my very best scrappy friends helped me celebrate my 40th this year at a 'private' island retreat - the best girly weekend ever :)

My BSF was already a friend and I knew we would have so much more fun if we could scrap together... and of course we do!
