High Hopes stamps is making cards for the girls...

This week HHS Diva Debby is challenging us to make a female birthday card. I decided to make one for the grown up girls in my life. I chose BFF girls for my card today as I love these ladies. Why do I love them...cause they are not all skinny minnies hee hee. I love their body shape and I love their not perfect hair style. In fact mine usually looks like the girl on the left. I call it my Christmas tree look because my hair is flat on top them I have wild kinky waves that make it flare out at the bottom. I feel like a triangle hee hee.

I coloured these ladies up with my copics and then used some of the new Prima paper I snapped up today at SGD. I just adore Prima's dreamy paper lines. I know my butterfly paper looks like it is upside down because of the words but actually it had the script going both ways. It was only after it was all glued down that I realized how it looked. After trying to peel it off and hearing ripping...it was there to stay lol! I added a layered flower, some ribbon and some stitching. By free hand of course using a marker as I forgot to stitch it before I had glued it down *sigh*. I would ask where my head was but I know already...it was busy breaking up one of the bajillion arguments my kids were having today, Family Day holiday, in Ontario. They were the 'Bickerson's' so much so today that hubby and I snuck off for a hot drink (Tim Horton's Roll up the rim time people!) and the quick run in to SGD to see Sheila and Kim. Thanks for the mental break and laughter ladies!

So grab yourself a hot drink if you don't have one already and pop on over to the High Hopes Stamps challenge blog to see more yummy DT creations and to see how you can craft along with us to win! If you need any High Hopes stamps don't forget you can get them directly from HHS, SGD or Paper Romance and many more online stores.
